iPad for Dad Winner and Art for Speck Dads!

And the winner of our “iPad for Dad” twitter contest is… @jthiewes! Yes!! You will be contacted by Speck about receiving your iPad prize pack which you’re going to actually give to your dad… right??!

Speaking of giving great things to dads, the kids of Speck dads have been pretty creative lately in showing their dads how much they care… about Speck.

Alex glued a Lego board to the top of a MacBook SeeThru SATIN case, and his son did this lovely FUN motif to remind his dad of the main reason why he’s working at Speck… cuz it’s FUN.

Who is the star of this Speck group photo? It’s Tim, of course, and not because of his good-looks. It’s because his kids made him a spexy HALO out of some white PixelSkins and a coat hanger. The hanger was sort of a harness that went around his head and attached to his neck. We hear it was really comfortable!

Dave in Ops has a daughter that is quite creative. As you can see, the Speck part was taken literally, we’re the dot over on the left. POLKA is apparently our mascot- since “Speck” is a measly dot in her mind, POLKA-dot is our mascot. And Polka-Dot is from outer-space. Of course. And SWEET!!! Although Dave is new to the Speck team, it looks like our Marketing Department’s CandyShell “SWEET” campaign is doing it’s job and sticking in people’s heads. Go marketing!
