I've had this case as long as my Fire. They were both gifts. It has protected the Fire very well for about a year now, with only a small amount of wear showing on the elastic band. Needs occasional readjustment for power button access. I use the cover as a sunscreen when needed. Micro-suede cleans easily with a lint roller. Unfortunately it is not made to fold and stand. If it ever wears out to the point of replacement, I would purchase the Speck FitFolio. I would recommend Speck products to anyone.

I have a kindle fire that fell off the arm of my recliner and hit my tile floor and cracked. I got the screen replaced but was looking for a cover for my Kindle that could cushion it if this ever happened again. I would love an otterbox but they are not available yet. I got on this website and saw this particular cover. I did live chat with two associates asking about this cover. I was told it was very comparable in protection as Otterbox is. I asked specifically if the screen was protected or did I need to order a screen protection for it. I was told that the screen was protected and I needed nothing else. Well, I get the product today and it is nothing more than a leather holder. That is fine if that is all I wanted. However, $30 bucks for a leather folder is not what I expected or was told that I was getting. There is no type of screen protection what so ever. I will give props to customer service though. I called and would you believe they actually put a pre-paid return shipping label in there? I guess they knew that it wasn't what they advertised it to be. Luckily the return process will be easy. I just hope they credit my card quick.

I love my new cover for my Kindle Fire. I got the BookWrap in red. It looks quite expensive and feels great with the hand stitched details. The only downfall is that it makes the Kindle wider then it originally was.

This is great. Good quality, makes it easy to sit and read or watch shows in Internet. Can also be folded back and propped. A little expensive, but worth it.
