MILITARY-GRADE DROP PROTECTION

As the above material makes clear, Speck has tested a number of its cases and determined that the identified cases meet or exceed certain standards often used by the military to determine effectiveness of protection. To be clear, this does not mean that your devices will never break. If you drop them hard enough, or from high enough, or at just the wrong angle, your device may still be damaged. And if you happen to drop your device into a river of molten lava, Speck case or no Speck case, let it go. Cause it’s gone.

Per our limited liability warranty, Speck has no liability for any damage or destruction to consumer electronic devices or other personal property that are in the products, including, without limitation, laptops, cell phones, MP3 players, DVD players or handheld devices, or any loss of data contained in the foregoing devices.

Our DuraFolio for iPad Air harnesses military-grade protection into a slim and functional folio for all-around protection without the bulk. Take your iPad Air wherever you go, and for whatever you do, without worrying about everyday drops and spills. So for sleek style and military-grade protection in one durable iPad Air case, get DuraFolio from Speck. Backed by a one-year warranty.

This case is definitley worth the extra money. I have dropped my iPad multiple times and the screen is still fine. If you are looking for a case that looks nice, but protects this is it.

I got this for my new iPad air, and it looked great - until the next couple of days rolled around. I hadnt even used it much and the fabric that was on the inside of the case (the flap part) started peeling on the edges. I figured this was just a one time thing with the case, but then I filed it for the warrantee & they sent me a new one, and my new one is doing the same thing. I'm going to try to hot glue the fabric, but I shouldn't have to do anything to fix the case after I've paid over $40 on it. Not impressed.

Bought this originally @ Best Buy and I paid $69.99 plus tax. I had no color options @ BB. I looked online and found this one on sale and purchased it then returned the one I bought @ BB. Although it does slip sometimes I really like it because it protects all around the edges of my iPad. I love the black on black because I take my iPad everywhere. I slip it in between my seat and the door when I don't take it with me (grocery store, etc) I have dropped it and wah-lahhhh NO damaged was done to my iPad. This is the 2nd iPad cover I've bought for my iPad. The 1st I had, well, didn't work so well because my iPad slipped out of my hand and shattered my screen. After having my iPad repaired I immediately bought this one and I am so happy I did. I just know that I would've shattered my screen had I not had this new cover on my iPad!! I would highly recommend this product !!!

When will you make a handyshell for iPad Air? I can't stand these folio cases. You really need the handle to grab. It makes it SOOOO much easier to use. Please please can you make one? It's been a couple of years now. I used the old handyshell with the new iPad Air, but obviously it is too big and I finally got tired of looking tacky and not being able to use it properly. Please please, I beg you, make a handyshell for the iPad Air. package it with a protective case if you really feel that is necessary. I'm one customer who would definitely come back to your store if you made a handyshell for the iPad Air. Thanks for reading this.

This would be a perfect case for slimness, lightness and protection if you remove the stand features. Just a simple fold back, magnetic cover with a hinge-less back. Thanks.

Looks nice and provides protection, but the iPad slips a lot on the stand, which only works in landscape view. Pretty pricey, IMHO, given the limited functionality.

ive had speck cases for my laptops, bought covers as gifts for other people's iPads, and finally got my own iPad so was excited about the durafolio case. it seemed to have everything i wanted - good drop protection, reasonable price, a variety of viewing angles, and magnetic wake/sleep. i suppose it hits all of the points, but somehow the case feels flimsy and cheap - i can see the underside of the cover material at the point where the case folds, and it feels like it won't last. the volume buttons aren't flush with the iPad which bothers me, and the mute button is annoying hard to get at once the cover is in place. the front cover slides a little, but i can't tell if its waking up the iPad accidentally or not. now i feel kind of dumb for ordering the durafolio before i got the iPad (wanted to get the cover on it right away), because i am past the 30 day return window and i would have returned the case if i could.

The case looks great and it's sturdy. However, there are a few issues that I have discovered. The front cover slips easily which enables the "auto-awake" feature. I can see this being a problem for people who store their iPads in a bag or purse. Another reviewer mentioned the rubber stretches out around the volume buttons. This is true. I don't see it as being a problem with functionality. However, for the price, it should be corrected. Overall, it's an "ok" product. Since the price is so high and there's a flaw with the front cover, I'll probably return it.

I love Speck products because they are slim, protective, functional and have fun colors. I got speck case for my iPhone and then my samsung phone.

So I had to get Speck case for my iPad Air. I almost got speck style folio case but decided on Durafolio in fuchsia white color. This folio case is made of quality durable material and the color is stunning. It keeps iPad protected while maintaining slim profile and still lightweight. My wishlist is that the volume buttons were easier to press, the typing mode had magnets to hold it on place, when fold case back that it displays the fuchsia side instead of inner lining side.

I enjoy using my Durafolio case and got so many compliment about it. It's a keeper. Highly recommended!
