I got the mascot texture plaid case. Awesome case and I love it. However, the back is fabric, and you may not know that, sometimes, your hands get dirty/dusty/sweaty and that will rub off on the case and it's hard to clean! My suggestion: Find a dark one that hides dirt well, like my next one, the red and black plaid (:

Awesome case. Really really tough to get off, so that means it shouldn't just pop off if the phone gets bumped or dropped. It's a little pricey, but the the quality is amazing. Get this case when you can.
Fabric glue loosens up on a hot day.

I put my hand in my pocket to get my phone because I had a message, but my hand as well as the face of the phone was covered in sticky glue from the backside of the case. I can't believe something as simple as a hot day can loosen the hold of the fabric. I am very disappointed about that, otherwise the case did its job I guess. To those of you concerned, the phone fit quite well in the case too.

I got the Amethyst Bias Plaid case about 7 months and it has been very reliable. The Burton logo has just started to wear down and lose its color. The words BURTON x SPECK started to wear within a few days of receiving it but it is still there, nonetheless! Oh, and it is quite hard to remove from your phone but I guess that comes with the guarantee of protection of your phone!
Over the course of the seven months, I've heard people say that the fabric has came off of theirs.
BUT IT DOESN'T ALWAYS PEEL OFF!

I bought the case because I think it was looking good. The problem is that it last only for 6 month and now I need to buy a new one since the case is broken. I still don't know how this happen since I've never dropper my phone. Don't buy this case if you are looking for a durable solution.

I have the squarish one. I buy the squarish one so I can set it for taking photos.
The volume buttons get in the way, and the appliqué label on the other side makes it wobbly too.
I scratched off all the labels, but wish it had a large hole for the rotation lock and volume controls.

Embarrassed to admit I spent $40 on this case at my local Best Buy. Big fan of Burton; case seemed cool and sturdy. Dropped my phone ONCE on a kitchen floor (from only a foot or two) and cracked upper third of the front glass on phone. Shortly thereafter, noticed a crack in the actual case at the top of the phone, and then another on the lower right side. Used scotch tape as a minor remedy, but then today, an entire piece of the right side cracked and broke off. I take pretty good care of my phone - have had the same iPhone 4 since June of 2010, but this case has been a bit of a disaster. Could never recommend it, other than for aesthetics.

Broke within a week of using; attractive case but I do not recommend the fitted style- get it all in one piece instead (fabshell).
How do I get the Fitted iPhone 4S/4 case off? To remove this fitted iPhone 4 case, face the phone with the screen towards you. Start on the right side of the case, about an inch down from the top. From the inside (over the screen, not the outside!) gently pop the front of the case up. Once you have a bit of separation of the two pieces on the right side, work around to the top next, then to the left side and bottom, and gently pull the two pieces apart. It is much easier if you start from the inside/screen side, than from the outside of the fitted iPhone 4 cover! Use your fingers, or gently use a guitar pick or credit card to help pop it off. The trick is to start from the inside (screen side) - and it works best if you start on the right side and go counter-clockwise. For more help, please watch our fantastic demonstration video!
