I had this cover for my 4 and was able to dock without removing the case so, i wanted to have the same cover for my new 5. I was dissapointed that the connectors do not fit. I had to remove the bottom of the case, which was an inconvenience. Not as tight and "grippy" as before.

I loved my PixelSkin for my iPhone 3GS - It was the best protection ever. When I got my iPhone 5 I immediately purchased the same version for this phone. Unfortunately, the "fit" of the cover is not nearly as tight as the one for the 3GS. It almost feels as if the phone will easily slip out of the cover. Also, the rubber is not nearly as "grippy" as the older versions. It's a little slicker than my two older versions. Still my favorite so far for a good cover.

Just bought this case. I said it before and I'll say it again Speck pixel skin is by far the best case you can buy for your iPhone. It's rubber material is completely different from a hard case. If you're talking about dropping your phone on the ground imagine wrapping your phone with a piece of wood or with a pillow: which one is going to make more of a difference in how softly the phone lands. The hard cases will only provide scratch protection while a rubber case like this Provides scratch protection AND drop protection. This case is still slim and retains the phones thin profile. It's by far the best money you can spend a case

I've had PixelSkins on my two iPods and iPhone 4, so I knew I wanted one for my iPhone 5. But it's been two years since I last got one, and the texture of the case has changed; it's now much less grippy/sticky than they used to be. Still a great case, and seems to be the same thickness as my others, but also has a little extra give by the bottom speakers. I personally just miss the grippier material.

This case it awesome! it will keep your phone safe. I am waiting to get the iphone 5 case. Great case for protecting your phone, great grip, I REALLY like the protective corners as the phone drops it is super protected! easy on and off. and easy to clean.

The Pixelskin speck case for the new iPhone exceeded my expectations as I blindly ordered this in desperate need for a case. At the time of order, not many cases were available and I thought about Speck after having a case for the iPod Video for over 6 years. It was a great case, but collected dust too quickly due to the overly soft rubber. The Pixelskin on the other hand is made from a TPU type material and remains in perfect balance between softness (for feel) and firmness (for protection). Buttons and switches match and line up as they should and provide reassurance that help dampen the rough clicks of the volume and sleep/awake buttons. Most noteworthy is the texture and feel. The Pixelskin encapsulates the iP5 so well in the softest and most pleasing feel of any case. The colors are rather unique and the yellow (the one I ordered) helps the eye locate the iP5 from across the room. For somebody who would rather rock the iP5 without a case and appreciate it naked, the Pixelskin rounds out the sharp edges that pleases beyond measure.

I bought this for my Iphone 5 and am returning it. It's too slippery. It feels like there is a powder layer on it, smooth and not grippy. I have the black pixel skin for my 3GS and love it. It's the only case I used. This one does not even compare. It lacks in quality and grip.
