Price ($15 on sale), value, and quality are all excellent, but the 13" is HUGE. The 13" must be horizontal, not vertical. It's more like 20-22 inches tall. It's more messenger bag than purse. My iPad mini swims around in all the space, and it's really not what I was looking for. That said, I'll keep it as a book bag for school, and I've just bought the 10" version. The style, materials, and utility are all great; the big one is just too big. For $15, the 10" is worth a try.
  • Great with handy shell

I get compliments on this bag frequently. No one suspects it contains my precious iPad with the equally fabulous handy shell case. The bag is pretty forgiving about all the extra crap I shove into it, and has lots of hidden but easily accessible pockets. I rarely unbutton that finicky button and open the flap though. I usually reach down through the top into the pockets. I've had this bag for a couple years and carry it with me daily, with very little sign of wear. It's even been through the washing machine a couple times after pet incidents.

Got this as a gift 6 months ago and the button is already 3/4 ripped out and I only wore it 4 times since I received it. Don't waste your money especially with the hefty $60 price tag. I only have the iPad bag not the notebook one so how is it that the button has already ripped out after 4 times using it??? NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!!!

I love this bag! I do wish the strap was a little longer so you could use it for a cross body and also come in more than 2 color trim choices. Can't beat the price!
  • Great bag but problematic material

The size and style of this bag is great for the iPad or Macbook Air. It keeps it protected and has more pockets. As reviews in other places noted, the big front button is not the easiest to undo. It is nice for being casual but also professional. I have the black material and the main problem is that it collects everything - lint, pet dander, etc.. some bags made of man made material don't do this, but this material is like cotton cloth. From the picture it looks like the gray bag is wool or felt, but the description does not say the material. Those may be better. It is not a huge problem, but annoying. But overall bag is nice.

I bought this to be able to carry my ipad around town safely. It has grown on me so much that I use it even without the ipad in it.
What I like: I think it looks great. I have the grey color and it looks professional enough to take to work but casual enough to wear on weekends with jeans. Looks great with a lot of my fall/winter clothes. I love its simple but interesting/stylish look. Very comfortable to wear on the shoulder - because of the material it is VERY lightweight. I love all the pockets. I have room in this for my ipad, iphone, a few cosmetics, pocket tissue pack, chunky wallet, comb, metro card, iphone charger, small book or notebook. I do feel like I don't want to stuff it too much because then it gets a bulky look that takes away from its stylishness. So all of the above I can put in and it still looks pretty slim.
What I don't like: I wish the button were a snap or something instead. It's kind of hard to button/unbotton. It took me a while to realize that I didn't need to constantly button/unbutton the front flap. I can just keep it buttoned and slip my hand in and access all of those pockets. But when I go through security at some of the buildings here in Washington DC they insist on opening it up and that button is a bit of a hassle. The only other thing I don't like is that the A-Line structure, which looks great, means the zipper at the top for the main compartment is a little hard to open/close easily if you want to open it to stuff a bunch of things in and dig around in, and then zip for safety. Not a big deal, just a bit combursome because of all the fabric up there at the top.
Overall I love this bag. Have carried it for a year (minus the very hot summer months) and came back here to look at other colors.

I like the 13" bag but would love one sized for the small MacBook Air!

The button should be replaced with a zipper it's difficult to undue the button . The I pad compartment is good the way it is. The bag shoulder strap should be made longer so one can use it as a cross the body bag. Do these changes and it would be great, and I would give it a 5.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the A-Line bag. In reality it looks very plain, not very professionally made. The outside material doesn't look waterproof and is boring! The lining isn't very strong. The different pockets are practical, but they are small, and not quite enough.
I didn't return it because it was too cumbersome to send it back from Europe, so I use it, and it does serve its purpose.

I couldn't rip open the box soon enough! The pictures hardly do justice as to how amazing this bag is. I can't believe how well made and durable it is, while at the same time being very stylish and practical! I know for sure what I will be getting friends with a new iPad/MacBook for the Holidays. An excellent accessory!
