Peeling fabric

Same thing as every one else. After having the case for just over a month the fabric on the side has started peeling away. Very poor quality. Having previously had a Speck fabric case this is very surprising and disappointing. Now I have to fork out international shipping costs just to get a replacement and in the meanwhile (presumably over a month) I shall have no case.

Protective and Stylish--Solution to Dirty Case

I absolutely adore my fabshell case from speck. The one complaint I had (as many others have mentioned) is how dirty this case can get. I have the striped case and this becomes very evident with the small white stripes. However, a simple solution that I do about once a month is a pretty solid scrubbing of the fabric with a clorox disinfecting wipe (or two, or three). It cleans it to near perfection, and does so without disturbing the adhesive that binds the fabric and the plastic.

I would definitely recommend this case to someone who doesn't mind a little maintenance. They're stylish and unique. I think I'll be getting a Speck Burton case next.

I was initially thrilled with the fit & protection and used to get so many compliments. While I still love how this case fits my phone and it still does a great job protecting it, after a few months I now have issues with the fabric being very dirty and peeling off. It's too bad... I feel like the cost is very steep considering how quickly it began to fall apart.

I have used the case for almost 3 months and the fabric is peeling off at the edges. Also, it gets dirty very easily and is difficult to clean. I would not recommend this case, but try the fitted case with the fabric backing instead. My husband has that one and it is much more sturdy and better made.

It looks really nice and it protected my phone really well but after about a month the fabric started peeling off and fraying. It is really a bummer because I love the way it looks.

I've owned two fabric shells - the first was amazing and did a great job protecting my phone. In fact, when I dropped it on a marble floor, the case shattered but my phone was fine. The replacement fabric shell, however, began peeling within just a few weeks. I glued the peeling side back down and the other side began peeling the next week. Its too bad -- the protection is great, but the peeling is just unacceptable.

FAIL. yet another compliant about peeling fabric. only had the phone for 3 months and ALL the fabric has come off. i like the hard case and feel it is good protection however that's the only positive thing i can say. i bought a hardshell to replace this case.

This case does a wonderful job protecting my phone, but it is full of flaws. The first time I bought the case the fabric began peeling off after two weeks and I was left with a case that was all dirty and sticky on the outside. Because it was still under it's 1-year-warrany Speck replaced the case, but required me to pick yet another fabric one. I insisted that the same thing was going to happen again, but yet they insisted on sending the same one. I've been using the replacement case for less than two weeks and it's already begun to fray and peel on the sides. What a horrible, horrible, flaw.

This case was a gift that my friend got me earlier in the year and I have never put on my phone until July. The case is super protective and stylish, yet it has its flaws. The fabric gets dirty easily and the fabric also is peeling off. I wish that the fabric didn't peel off :( Glad its protecting my phone though!

My son bought this as a Christmas gift for my new iphone. Although I really do love the look, I am having to finally replace this case, 8 months later. It started peeling off the sides after about 5 months. I solved that problem with super glue. Now though..... I cannot get the fabric clean and it looks so unsightly when sitting out for others to see, I am embarrassed. Would like to have it replaced.... just might try calling Speck.
