I didn't want a bulky Otterbox and I liked the flip bottom of this case. At first I doubted its protection until my daughter threw my iPhone on the ground. The case itself cracked in three places, but my phone was perfect! The case is still usable even with the cracks because the rubber holds it together. The scratching on the back from normal wear and tear is hardly noticeable unless you are looking right at it. Best decision for a case because I'd rather get a new case that hundreds on a new phone. The flip bottom is great for docking or bulky jacks, but also makes it easy to get the iPhone in and out of the case!

I actually bought this for my husband and after putting it on and feeling how light weight and durable it is, I had to get one for myself. Also the flip part of the cover actually makes it very easy to put on and take off without scratching the iPhone itself. My previous cover gave me some serious issues. The flip is also great of course as a quick to use stand. Overall, I have used many covers -- pretty ones, designer ones and even the massive otter. And this one is by far the best. Price point is a bit high but well worth it. Highly recommend!

I really like this phone cover, as I don't have to take off the cover to charge it overnight. I have had it in white and now black. The case scratches easily and the white shows dirt. But very durable. Phone drops often and has never broken. The first one I had lasted a year and had significant wear on the bottom front, where it flips off the phone each night. Eventually I replaced. Would recommend a middle range color to show less scratching.

I bought my case the night I got my iPhone 5 and I was trying to be extremely careful with my phone until I got my case. I ordered it Friday night and it got here the next Thursday with free shipping which I was very pleased with. I have never bought any Speck products so i was very leery about ordering one and then the way it flips back in order to dock. I am very very happy with this case! its my favorite I have ever bought!!! I love it! <3 I will defiantly be buying more products from Speck!!

I love speck cases in general but this one has to be my favorite of them all. Its made of a nice and flexible material that holds up over time. Everyone complains about candyshell cases scratching but I'd rather it be the case than my phone. Keep up the good work!

I have always trusted my previous phones To Otterbox . But their cases are getting to more expensive and the quality is not as it used to be. So far, Speck has been living up to my expectations. It feels night and tight, also love the silicone inside, and the hard case on the outside. It's worth the switch.

I didnt want an otterbox cause they are huge but i still wanted something that will protect my phone and this is perfect!!!! I love this case BUT the shine and stuff scratches super easy even if you treat it like a baby! Like i said, it is the shine that scratches but still.. It does what i want and the colors are pretty stylish(: i am overall superrr happy and going to get another! Plus, i like the docking option cause it is handy and it would be pain taking the case all the way off.

Q: How do I put on and remove the CandyShell Flip case from my iPhone 5?

A: The CandyShell is "bendy" and "flexible"! Insert the bottom corners of your iPhone 5 into the bottom of the case, gently bending the flexible CandyShell around the iPhone 5. Once the bottom is in, flex the top corners of the case around the top of your iPhone 5. To remove the CandyShell Flip, place your thumbs right on the Speck logo on the back of the case, and use your fingers to gently flex and bend the top corners of the CandyShell off of the top corners of your iPhone 5. Make sure to gently press the back of the case with your thumbs as you bend the top corners, it will make it much easier to pop your iPhone 5 out of the CandyShell. Once you have the top of your iPhone 5 out, the bottom will slip off easily.
