This case ended up being the one. Not too pricey and appears to be holding up to my usage. Slides in and out of the pocket with ease which was one of my concerns. It's rubber is hard enough not to shift on the phone or stick to pockets but pliable enough to easily take on and off to clean your phone. I would buy another one. -

PriceHad a competitor's case on my old 3G and liked it, so I bought the same model for the iPhone5 but it was just too bulky and even made me regret upgrading to the 5. Tried this case and it has changed how I feel about the 5 completely. The ergonomics are great, good balance between grip and slip, and a perfect fit (no wiggle or looseness as some users have noted). Seems a little pricey for what it is, but is competitive with market. Ordered direct from Speck to avoid cheap knock-offs. Delivery was quick and free. Great case Speck!ValueQuality

QualityI was looking for a case with a very slim profile since I want to appreciate how thin my iPhone 5 is. I tried several other Speck cases and liked them but they were just too bulky. The PixelSkin HD is very thin but has good protection and extra grip which I appreciate. My case fits well and I haven't had any problems with it being too big like other users. Wish it was a little bit cheaper but I love Speck's products and know it will last a long time. Overall, it is exactly what I was looking for and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, especially if there were more colors available.PriceValue

QualityI bought this case yesterday, and it didn't fit the iPhone perfectly. It wiggled a little bit like some customers commented. However, I brought it back to the store and tried on a couple of other ones, to my surprise, some are very well fitted. Especially the grey color cases. One can only imagine that not all cases are made from the same mold. Although this case does look very slim fit from the side, from face on, it does look a little bit bulky. Color one would prob look best on the black iPhone 5.PriceValue

QualityI am always wary when buying a case as it seems a shame to cover up the amazing detail that went in to designing the phone (especially the iPhone 5). However, the design of this case is incredible: the phone still has the premium feel, but feels more sturdy and safe than the bare phone. The case fits to perfection, and is very comfortable in the hand. There is not an angle you can look at the case to make it appear ugly, and surprisingly, the sound from the phones speaker actually sounds better due to the cases mesh speaker covering (not sure if that was intentional)!PriceValue
I have used Speck cases before, and have always felt they are the best case makers. In my opinion, this case is the best iPhone case yet, and would highly reccomended. -

Cons: Fitment problems. I bought this case about 2 weeks after the iPhone 5 dropped hoping that Speck addressed the fitment issues. I was wrong, the case loves to roll over and slide around the aluminum band and is extremely flexible around the phone. If I dropped it I would seriously be afraid of the phone falling out of the case. My sister has the PixelSkin HD for her 4S and it literally fits like a glove. : (
Conclusion: I would use this case as a backup only, as I use a Candyshell Satin as my main day-to-day case. It fits in your pocket really well and doesn't attract pocket lint. Unfortunately given the aforementioned issues I had to rate it 3's across the board. -
