CandyShell Grip for iPod touch is perfect for hardcore gamers, serious texters, or anyone who wants a better grip on their phone. This iPod Touch 4G grip case offers the same sweet dual-layer protection as our popular CandyShell--soft, shock-absorbent rubber on the inside, and hard plastic on the outside. The rubbery lining absorbs shock and also extends to a bezel, which protects your screen if it falls screen-first, and gives it no-slip stability when you place it face down.
Ridged rubbery fingerpads on the back of this iPod Touch 4G case are designed to give you a winning grip. And the four thumb-bumps on the edge bezel lock in your thumb placement so you won't lose track of your virtual buttons when you're going for high score!
- Fits iPod touch 4G
- Textured finger pads on back for gaming grip and long-term comfort
- Thumb bumps control alignment over virtual touchscreen buttons
- Co-molded construction, combining hard plastic and soft rubber
- Form-fit, one-piece, patented design
- Raised screen bezel and rubberized button covers

QualityThe case fits well on my iPod touch, but the bottom strip is tearing apart. Other than that it's a really good case.PriceValue

QualityGreat case! Fits excellent and no marks when dropped from 5 feet! A bit pricey but well worth it now that it survived that fall! Like car insurance, you hate paying for it until it saves your a**!!PriceValue

ValueI really loved how this fitted firmly around my ipod touch but my first worry even without reading comments first was that the bottom filmstrip will easily break but its a good case and i got it cheaper then most on the shelf and of cource i wont be having it super long i like to change up alot so i sure by the time i get new one it may survive use and yes i found it nice for gaming gripQualityPrice

ValueThis case looks cool and all, but there are some problems. Everyone comments about how the bottom strip broke off quickly, but that is not the only thing wrong. (By the way, that happens with most all of the candyshell cases, just sand down the sharp edges and you'll be fine) The problem is that there is no other layer of protection behind the grippy parts, so after just 6 months with mine the grips are worn down and a hole in the rubber is gonna happen soon. I can't really complain about price because a buddy of mine got it for me off of amazon for around $10, but really, with normal wear and tear, a case should last more than half of a year...QualityPrice

Valuei got to high school and this case got me a whole lot of complements.QualityPrice
but after about a year the bottom of the case where the charge cable is insterted has started to stretch and the plastic over the headphone jack has come off.
i can't find the receipt so that i can take it bacck for a warranty check and I'm very dissapointed that I won't be able to replace it beacuse even though it has the one fatal flaw of no other protection at the bottom of the case it was very good for the time when it wasn't broken. -

ValueIt protects my case well but the buttons are pretty hard to push and it doesnt feel like they fit flush. the bottom broke in about 2 weeks of use, and in 2 places. overall though it protects my iPod and what are cases for any way? Id rather my $30 case broke rather than my $300 iPod.QualityPrice

ValueI love my iPhone speck case so decided to get a iPod touch case. We cannot use the volume buttons at all and it is really difficult to turn the touch off. Also the bottom has already broken and the case is just a year old. I do like the way it feels in my hand and it protects the iPod well but has been rather a disappointment .QualityPrice

ValueJust bought this case at target at the clearance section (I wonder why), so far the case seems to be pretty good, feels sturdy and feels like it will protect my iPod. A couple concerns about this case is that other people say that this case does break which I'm really worried that will happen. The case also does attract a lot of dust cuz of the rubber. In a perfect world I would love to have my itouch be scratch free but cuz of that metal back it's impossible. Lastly the price is pretty high and it don't come with extras like screen protector or cloth to clean with. I got my for18.00 which I'm happy about.QualityPrice
Q: What is CandyShell Grip made of?
A: CandyShell Grip has a soft rubber inside with a hard plastic outside. The soft inside and hard shell outside are molded together into one case, they do not separate. The inner soft part of the case and the touch-thru button protectors are made of TPE, the outer shell is a hard polycarbonate plastic with rubbery ridged finger pads
Q: What is the finish on the outside of the CandyShell Grip?
A: CandyShell Grip has a combo glossy / rubbery impact-resistant hard plastic with integrated TPE thumb grips for a secure grip
Q: Will it fit on my iPod Touch? A: This case is specifically designed to fit the iPod Touch (4th gen) It will not fit on other devices or the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen iPod Touch. Q: Can I use all the features of my iPod Touch without removing the case? A: Yes - the screen is left open and touch-sensitive, there is a cutout for the bottom plug, switches, and the buttons are covered by touch-thru rubbery button covers that let you use the buttons just as you would with no case on. Q: How do I get it on and off? A: Slide button side of your iPod Touch into the CandyShell case first, then gently snap the other edges of the case around the edge of the screen. To remove the CandyShell iPod Touch case, place your thumbs in the center of the back of the case, gently press while pulling and bending the top corners of the case off. Bend the case, not the iPod! Once the top corners are off, the iPod will slide out of the bottom of the case. Q: Can I clean the rubbery parts with something? A: You can clean the "rubbery parts" easily with some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Q: Can I be notified if a color or item is out of stock? A: Sure! Just go to the page for the product style and color you want and hit the “Out of Stock? NOTIFY ME” button. Q: You haven't answered my question. A: Please email us! For questions about an order you have placed or other general questions, please email customerservice@speckproducts.com.
