I just purchased the satin finish case cover and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. The satin finish is beautiful and non-slip. The case has been redesigned and fits like a glove over my new macbook. I have used this product in the past and it really did help maintain the finish on my old macbook. I purchased the jewel tone purple and now I even get complements on the cover...

So...I've had this case for a few months now, and its great. I'd advise anyone to get one.

BUT, I have 2 issues w/ the case. Technically one, since one of the issues are w/ Apple's design.

1. The bottom of the case is stamped w/ vent groves, but only a 1/3 is cut out. ??? Why not just cut the rest out?

2. The Macbook Pro's display hinge is quite light. With this case attached, it makes the screen incredibly easy for it to tilt forward/back without much effort.

Its a great case though. I love the finish/texture. The hard plastic feet are kind of odd though. Why not just use rubber?

The case is incredibly beautiful, the color purple is amazing, people who know I like purple think I got my Mac customized, it fits so nicely that it looks like it belongs to the machine, a machine which is well worth protecting.
I'm really happy with it and I can't stop touching it.

I bought this case in KL, the black one for MBP unibody, and it is awesome! It does confine some heat if I use the geforce 9600 graphic card, but for geforce 9400, it is fine. Doesn't affect much on hinge performance.

Just got in my Black Satin for the Unibody and is nothing short of amazing! It feels good and the new look of my Mackbook Pro is beautiful. I cannot believe the precise fit, its perfect. I bought the "other" brand which was a poor fit. I took it back right after putting it on and opening the lid it made a loud snap. Speck did this one right!

Please make a satin one in green!!!!!!

I am AMAZED with this product! I ordered it 2 days ago & it already arrived! It was a "snap" to put on & will be easy to maintain. I'm in love with it!
