Put it on my mac 2,5 years ago. I use it rather carefully, but nothing special. Speck case still looks perfect, just as if it's day one! How is it possible that someone manages to crack it!? One would have to hit it with something! Speck case is just great. I am glad I bought it.

The last speck case I had lasted me three years! When I bought this new one, the corners broke off less than 6 months after I purchased it and warranty doesn't cover it. Needless to say, I am less than happy and do not plan on buying a computer case from speck again.

I have had this on my MacBook Pro since I purchased it 2 and a half years ago. I have dropped my Mac, used it heavily for work and graduate school, allowed my young children to play on it, and even allowed my students to use it in the classroom. I never worry about my MacBook being protected. Even after rough treatment and many falls, there are no cracks on my case and my Mac works perfectly. I am back to purchase another Speck case just because I want a change in color. I have removed the case to clean under it and it is still a tight fit and hard to get on and off, which I think it a good thing. I would highly recommend this case.

Had this on on my MacBook Pro within weeks the tabs that hold the case on had all broken off. 2 months later there are cracks on all corners of the bottom case. Really frustrating as I thought i would invest in protection that lasted but it really hasn't...... I really look after my mac and 90% of the time its on a desk.

However the top lid/screen protection is all fine and has held on really well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my lime green cover. Should have purchased 2 as Speck does not keep up with color trends on all products. CLEAR Hot Pink, Bright Orange, Bright Lime, Bright Azure Blue, Bright Yellow to mention a few should be in there product line. I like to have a case for back up but who is making your color selections. Clearly not someone who watch high end fashion. I am watching and waiting for a new release in a color I want. Color should be fun because not everything we do on our laptops is about fun.....some of us work. So I politely as you to UP GRADE YOUR COLORS for SeeThruCasesfor MacBookPro 15". Shop desiger brands - LongChamp, KateSpade,MicheleKors,ToriBurch,Sorell, and more high end companies. UnderArmor eve. Color Coordinate. Thanks

Bought two of these cases for my Mac Pro. 13". The first one broke because I did not know how to take it off. Still don't, but I use a credit card and it's a lot easier. They replaced my first one and I went on to buy another one in a different color!!
We are VERY careful and never bang or get rough with it and I just changed into the chardeny one today. I change them up and also take them off monthly to clean the Mac.
    So, no problems here.

Had this cover for a week. It looked great, even if it seemed a bit overpriced. But as soon as I tried removing the top portion, it cracked. Absolute waste of $50.

I've had this cover on my Mac only a few months now. I am VERY careful with my gear and always travel with my Mac inside the padded sleeve of my rolling lap top bag. A few weeks ago I noticed cracks around the corners of the bottom. Yesterday my Mac slid off my lap and I just caught it with my toes. The rear however hit the wood floor I was sitting on. Both rear tabs of the bottom cover snapped off! I had another cover on my older Mac for 3+ years, dropped and banged it multiple times and when I gave the cover away to my bro it was fully intact. You need to rethink you plastic formulation. I understand the theory of a sacrificial element but this cover should stand up to a much more than what it experienced.
