I bought this case two weeks ago because I've bought a new iPad Mini and I wanted an authentic case. I was disappointed at the store where I bought my case because the ones with designs are not always available. Maybe Speck could produce more designed cases and make it to a point that it's always available to the public. But, even though the cover is sleek, smooth and fitted into my Mini, it's easy to get dirty especially since I bought the mint green color. But nonetheless, it's really worth it and its very beautiful to look at and smart to use.

I got this case almost two months ago in the FreshBloom Coral and loved it for the first week. I do love how tight fitting it is to my iPad, so I know it won't ever fall out. Really hard to use your iPad vertically with this case due to it always flying forward. My main disappointment with this case is the quality of the elastic binding around the clasp. Mine is completely torn apart and ready to fall off. I'm not rough on it whatsoever and it looks like all I do is yank on it. If youre buying this case, I suggest you go with a darker color. The coral gets dirty REALLY fast. Other than that the case is durable and only good for someone who is rarely using their iPad.

I don't normally review things but feel this product is worth it. I first bought this at Target and was disappointed it didn't have the smart cover feature so I returned it. I looked at a LOT of iPad Mini cases and though it wasn't everything I wanted I went back to it. I was very happy to find it now has the smart cover feature. It is slim line, functions well, looks classy and has a nice feel to it. I think all covers are over priced so just a "3" for price. I am very happy with my purchase!! Well done Speck!!!

I purchased this cover on account of the colour - dark turquoise blue - it stood out from all the other covers on the stand. It was only when I was fitting it I realised it had a hard shell backing which was exactly what I needed . I bring my Ipad mini everywhere and it has replaced my camera for the most part so this tough lightweight cover allows me to throw it into my handbag and not worry about it getting scratched. It's nice to hold as well - it has a nice velvety surface . My one small reservation is that it does not have a magnetic open/close ability.

I have had this case since it first came out and it is impossible to keep clean. It does not fit tightly all the way around . The stand falls often and the snap does not stay closed. This week I bent over to pick something up for my daughter and the i pad mini fell approximately 6 inches with the case on. It cracked every place that the case holds tightly to the ipad. The case however which transfered the shock of the drop to the i pad is fine.
