A Speck Iconology Primer
Multiple Stand Angles
Folios for iPads have a clever hinge-and-notch system that allows them to be conveniently adjusted for watching video, using FaceTime, writing emails, and more.
Show off your magnetic personality with the elegant, slim-fitting MagFolio iPad case! It's the perfect lightweight and protective case for anyone who uses their iPad at the office, on the road, or just for fun. A padded cover doubles as a multi-position stand, while a new, deluxe soft-touch cradle adds full-frame protection and grippy feel. And the stylish, vegan-leather cover gives this case a sleek, professional look.
- MagFolio case fits iPad 3 and iPad 4
- Infinite viewing angles. Vertical? Horizontal? Halfway between? There are no limits, here. Place your iPad at any angle you want.
- Instant On/Off. Open the MagFolio cover and—voila!—your iPad wakes up. Close it, and your iPad goes to sleep.
- Bump-proof bezel. Because accidents happen, the MagFolio puts a raised bezel around your iPad. If you drop it, the bezel can take the brunt of the impact—instead of your screen.
- All-around protection, even buttons. From top to bottom—even the Power and Volume buttons—the MagFolio's got your iPad covered.
- Fit-right cradle. The form-fitting cradle secures your iPad, whether you're shopping on Amazon® or reading your favorite blog—and when you’re moving around in between.
- Elegant, minimalist design. The perfect complement to your iPad, the MagFolio presents a slim silhouette, clean lines and soft curves, all in an easy-on-the-eyes design.
- Smooth-close tab. Close the MagFolio iPad cover with a satisfying click, thanks to the smooth-close tab and its stealth-stitched magnet.

BEST IPAD CASE EVER!!
posted by Matthew on 5/14/13
Quality Price ValueI got this iPad case when I got my new iPad for my birthday. This case is easy to put onto the iPad. It also has a good grip! I got the black because its the best color for this case and it matches best with my white iPad. If your looking for a good case, this is the way to go!!
Nice product but too heavy
posted by V Allen on 8/6/12
Value Quality PriceThis is an attractive and well-made product, but it is heavy, which added to the weight of the IPad makes it cumbersome to use. Also, I agree with the previous user about the magnet not quite lining up when closing the device. Needs some fine tuning.
Nice case, hard to get to stay in place, doesn't always shut off when cover is closed
posted by Meg on 7/23/12
Value Quality PriceThe case is good quality and well built. It does a good job of protecting the iPad. My problems are that the magnet doesn't always line up correctly when the cover is closed so I often find that the iPad is still after you close the cover. It's also hard to get it to stay at certain angles. It slips and doesn't seem stable.
Beautiful, but too heavy

Value Quality PriceThis is a well made and attractive folio. However, it adds too much weight to an already heavy device.
Great feeling / looking case, but lacking craftsmanship

Value Quality PriceAfter scanning numerous reviews of iPad gen 3 cases online, this is the one I chose. It received great 3rd party comments and seemed to check all the boxes. Upon receipt of the case, I immediately noticed the attention to detail: great feeling / looking case that fits the new iPad relatively well, minus some very slight misalignment with buttons and holes. The mag cover works well and the different viewing angles this product purports to conform to are there and mostly stable, though a few are sensitive and you have to get the alignment perfectly correct for the product to stay in place. My only true complaint is the actual quality of the product. Immediately after removing the case from the shipping package and placing on the iPad I noticed that the front cover appeared to be slightly bubbling up from the opposing inside felt surface (two or three larger but relatively flat bubbles). As these bubbles were mostly inconspicuous, I only noticed them because when I would press down on the front cover, you could hear an unsticking sound where it appears that the bubbles were the result of the front cover coming unglued from the opposing surface. Now currently this does not affect the functioning of the case or take away from its potential utility but I found it unacceptable that the brand new product was already showing signs of falling apart straight out of the shipping box. This product was sold by and purchased directly from Amazon (not a third party seller on Amazon) and had all the markings of a genuine Speck product, including all Speck original packaging and warranty info. No less than 12 hours after receiving this case, I stuck it back in the mail to return to Amazon for a replacement. I'm hoping the product I originally received was a "lemon" and that the replacement I receive will be of better quality. I will update this review once I receive the replacement case.
Very nice case

Value Quality PriceToday I received this case and am very pleased. It covers all of the sides with minimal exposed area, but the holes are all accessible but are not centered that well. The screen lock and unlock does work nicely and the magnetic latch works pretty well too. The case has a nice grip so I dont feel like I am going to drop it. The viewing angels work well, but they do cause you to bend the fabric on the back a tiny bit. Over all I think it is one of the best products I have seen.
Possibly the best no-bulk ipad case out there

Value Quality PriceI intially learned of speck when my gf had the last gen fitfolio. Other than the elastic string closure and it's thickness, it was a very nice premium feeling case.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I bought the 3rd gen (?) fitfolio for my "the new ipad". It was pretty disappointing. the front cover was bending, they did not put the magnets in for the sleep/wake function, and the landscap view was very touchy and often fell over on it's own. I returned that thing ASAP.
I then see that the 3rd gen magfolio is avail. It looks nice enough online. I got a black colored one. When it arrived, I was extremely surprised, and was shocked to see that the same company made both products (the fitfolio and magfolio). The magfolio feels SO MUCH more premium. I like the usage of TPU (?) plastic instead of the hard rigid plastic of the fitfolio. the closure clasp is much better, and the sleep/wake function works. It also feels very nice in my hand, and the landscap function works great, there's enough friction to keep it from falling over even when typing.
there are some small issues, but none that effect the usage. the holes for the lock button and a few other cutouts are slightly off, more of a cosmetic problem, since the functions still work.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice ipad case.
Good case but puts iPad to sleep in magazine view
posted by David D. on 5/28/12
Value Quality PriceThis is generally a very good case: the materials seem reasonably high quality, and the stand itself does work at any angle in landscape view. The bad news is that the case intermittently puts the iPad to sleep when in magazine mode. This is not good when reading in bed. I'll probably return the case as a consequence, but if there's a fix or this issue doesn't bother you, this is a quality case that compares favorably with other folio cases.

Value Quality PriceI totally agree with the Duane Gossett.
Besides that the case is very light if compare to the others case. It's a good case.
